It has been brought to our attention that a number of you have received an e-mail from the IRD advising of a tax refund that you are eligible for. Whilst this may be very exciting news, the e-mail is in fact a hoax and should be deleted immediately. Do not click on the link provided. The IRD would never communicate with you in this fashion. They would usually contact you via a letter and in most cases though Walthall Ward Limited as your tax agent. NZ Herald
